Battle Angel Alita
 James Cameron has openly stated that at the moment the "Battle Angel" is only in preparation for shooting. It was not yet even officially released, it will be announced only next year. The plot will be built based on the first three volumes of the original story, and if the movie will be popular among viewers and commercially viable for the company, than a continue will follow that will include two more episodes based on the remaining six volumes of the book.
The plot of "Battle Angel" will be in the XXVI century, three centuries before that time there was a great war. It led to the deaths of nearly all living creatures and the loss of knowledge and modern technology, so that human development was rolled back for several centuries. The name of the protagonist is not yet known, it will be call either Alita (as in English translation) or Gally (as in the original, as well as the English version of the anime film). She is 14 years old and her brain has an organic origin (she is a cyborg). She will be fully simulated by computer, without the participation of a living actor, however, natural actors will also be present in the movie, but they will appear after computer processing.
